Suzette Boon, PhD
is a psychologist and psychotherapist currently working  as a consultant and psychotherapist at the Top Referent Trauma Center, Brinkveld, Altrecht in Zeist, The Netherlands. She also worked as a researcher at the free University of Amsterdam (psychiatric department). She translated and validated the Dutch version of the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-IV Dissociative Disorders (SCID-D)  and received a PhD for her thesis “Multiple Personality Disorder in the Netherlands” in 1993. She has published several books, book chapters and many articles on diagnosis and treatment of dissociative disorders. More recently Suzette developed a new diagnostic interview, the Interview for Dissociative Disorders and Trauma-related Symptoms (IDDTS). Suzette currently has six years of experience in using the Coping with Trauma-related Dissociation manual in structured groups in the Netherlands. She is a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation and has received the ISSTD David Caul Memorial Award in 1993, the Morton Prince Award in 1994, the President’s Award of Distinctio in 1995 for her contributions to diagnosis, treatment, research and education in the field of dissociative disorders. In 2009  ISSTD  granted  her the lifetime Achievement Award. She is co-founder and first President of the European Society for Trauma and Dissociation.
Kathy Steele, MN, CS
is Clinical Director of Metropolitan Counseling Services, a non profit, low cost psychotherapy and training center, and is in private practice in Atlanta, Georgia, US. She is a Past President and Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation, and has served two terms on the Board of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Kathy has received several awards for her work, including the Lifetime  Achievement  Award from ISSTD in 2010, and an Emory University Distinguished Alumni Award in 2006. Kathy is sought as a consultant, supervisor, and teacher on the topics of attachment, the therapeutic relationship, trauma, and dissociation. She has written numerous book chapters, peer reviewed articles, and two books in the field. She greatly enjoys collaborative writing and teaching with her friends and colleagues from all over the world. 
Onno van der Hart, PhD
is a psychologist and psychotherapist at the Sinai Center for Mental Health, Amsterdam, The Netherlands, and is Honorary Professor of Psycho-pathology of Chronic Traumatization at the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology at Utrecht University, the Netherlands. Onno is also a clinical consultant for the Center for Post-trauma Therapy and Trauma Education in Helsinki and Oulu, Finland, and a
Consultant for the National Center for Early Chronic Traumatization (LCVT), in the Netherlands. Onno is a Past President of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. He has twice received the ISSTD Pierre Janet Writing Award and the Milton H. Erickson Award of Scientific Excellence for Writing in Hypnosis, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation. He has published extensively in the field and teaches throughout the world.
